My name is Brimmer Doane Morrison and I am a history major and French minor at the College of Wooster. I research cultural history of clothing, cultural exchange through fashion and music, as well as fashion trends. I am a rising senior that is hoping to get further into the fashion industry through this blog and my digital art. My Digital Art/Work page as well as my Blog posts page represent my digital portfolio for potential employers. I have professional experience writing for Tonitruale, an internet fashion and culture magazine, art directing for Morrison Artworks, and making posters and designs for various clubs on campus. I have talent in writing, resarching, archiving, creating music, dancing, drawing, and coming up with creative ideas and designs. I am looking for internships in the fields of fashion journalism, trend research, styling, fashion archiving and creative direction. My current research is on Rei Kawakubo, DC Brands and Gothic Lolita subculture and how they subvert cultural capitalism.
